USS Arizona leaving Brooklyn Navy Yard in 1915
(after a photo, of course!)

Ink on Paper
This is the first in a series of ink drawings that I did based off old pictures of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Acting upon an idea from an unlikely source, I decided to showcase my drafting skills, drawing some realistic imagery of the history of the place where I live and work. (In ninth grade, I swore to myself that I would never copy pictures again, with the idea that I could always come up with things to create. Ten years later, here I am with this series.)
