Group Show in Lower East Side

I was curated into a group painting exhibition at 21 Ludlow, a new gallery in the lower east side showcasing young contemporary artists. I included six of my most recent paintings in the show with six other artists showing a variety of paintings ranging from cut paper narrative works, portraiture, still-lives from observation, and my own multi-layered, colorful abstractions.

NEW YORK – Following Works on Paper, 21LUDLOW is hitting the warmest New York days in years with the presentation of PAINTINGS. Featuring the work by Gray Edgerton, Timothy Mearini, Charles Martin, Eddie Ochoa, Jason Shelowitz, Fedele Spadafore and Nicole Wilson and ranging in styles from new realism to groovy fantasies on canvas, their work will be on view July 9^th - August 2^nd.

Moreover, the show will include a selection of handprinted T-shirts and posters by Clinton van Gemert a.k.a Head Hood as well as a taste of highlights from Works on Paper. 

The hot Lower East Side streets will be chilled with 21LUDLOW art coolness!

Strobe lights are a party must, music will be provided by DJ Robostus and DJ Selim.

Summer 2010 can hardly get better.
